guidelines for contributors
overview
the objective of The Reformist is to compile a distillation of ideas and research from multiple contributors. contributions will generally by used as reference in extending and amending the relevant Reformist thesis. The Reformist is a not-for-profit enterprise; no payments will be made to contributors and all income generated from publications will be used to fund The Reformist's development and activities.

occasionally an editor may want to publish a contribution in its entirety, or an extract from it, in which case your permission for a license to publish will be sought. in other cases, where your contribution influences the development of a thesis, you will be acknowledged as a contributor.
please read the terms and condition on the submission form and the additional terms and conditions of publication (which will only apply if The Reformist wishes to publish your contribution).
contributions
Please DO send:
- articles that are well-researched and/or clearly argued proposals for constructive reform or innovation.
- suggestions on how proposals should be modified to meet criticisms, objections or counterexamples you can substantiate.
- summaries of relevant articles, research projects or results, examples, etc.
- please cite any relevant articles, research projects, documented examples, etc., supplying complete references (URL; DOI; book title, author and page number; periodical title, issue and page number)
Please do NOT send:
- wholly negative critiques
- vague ideas
- ideas or opinions for which you cannot provide justification or examples
how to contribute
- contributions MUST be submitted using the relevant web form. This ensures that your contribution is correctly classified and forwarded to the relevant editor.
- prepare your contribution in a text editor or word processor before submitting it.
- prepare a brief (one paragraph) synopsis of your contribution.
- check references to headings and/or clause numbers in existing documents. Note that you may need to update these if a document you refer to is updated.
- keep your contribution concise.
- submit contributions on different issues separately.
- re-read your contribution before sending it.
- if possible, ask someone else to proof-read your contribution before you send it.
what will happen to your contribution
- your contribution will be forwarded to the relevant editor.
- the editor will consider your contribution and may alter or extend the relevant thesis in the light of your contribution.
- the editor will contact you only to ask questions or to notify you that your contribution will be published. please understand that an editor will not generally enter into further correspondence.
